We race (electronically) and the loser has to bake a cake to feed the office.
Why? because we like cake.
Who? everyone in the office. No one gets out of it.
When? 1st Monday of the month.
The rules: you make the cake yourself, without any help. You can't 'repeat' a cake. Your cake will be judged on presentation, difficulty and taste, and marked out of 10 by each colleague.

'Enterprise Recruitment Cake' by George. A victoria sponge divided into 4 'sunset' colours, filled with vanilla & lemon curd buttercream, covered with rolled fondant, and topped with the Company logo made out of modelling paste. A ribbon made out of fondant provided a trim to the cake and the cake board was also covered to complete the look. Her blender broke mid-cake so much of the 'beating' had to be done by hand.
The verdict: This cake split the office into 2 camps; those that like icing & those that don't, those that liked the interior colours & those that didn't. Comments included, "the colours put me off to be honest", "the icing was too sweet", and "I'm not a fan of the lemon". On the positive side, the presentation of the cake was well received.
'Enterprise Recruitment Cake' Average Score: 7.1
Next month: Jess is back in the game.
